- Atmospheric Differential: This is a reference to the First World. The “A-D” is the how different the current planet that any given person is on from that of the place of humanity's birth. It reads out in a four decimal place measurement. The bigger the number, the more different it is from the First World.
- The higher the tetra level of a person the higher A-D number can be for them to survive on the world. An A-D of .0009 or less is essentially unnoticeable to anyone.
- The two largest factors that influence A-D are gases in the air, and gravity. However proximity to the sun(s) and other astrological bodies also factors.
- Extinction List: The list of sentient alien races, that while there may be a few still left, are far to few in number and far to spread out to give hope of re-population.
- Generis: A Stone in a series of stones that exist on the world of Lenorus. These stones show a unique illumination, regenerative and power enhancing qualities.
- The generis worn by characters who have bonded to it after years of exposure. These people have built their villages around the large deposits called Procreator Stones. These ripen seasonally like fruit, allowing for the shedding of a few small crystals that drop naturally.
- They enhance abilities to those who live in close proximity to it or its fragments for extended time periods. Typically, the first results don't appear until after a planetary year has passed. When a person dies, there stone slowly gravitates back to its procreator to be reabsorbed by it, thus beginning the cycle anew.
- If a wearer that has truly merged with the generis is separated from it for a long time they begin to grow equal parts weaker as the crystal made them stronger.
- Holocom: A communications room where a 3-D holographic image of a person who is communicating with another is seen.
- The Alliance's holocoms are not as good as Enclavian at the time of unification war.
- Kahn: This word comes from an alien tongue that has become forgotten. It means, “one who yields the powers of a god.” It was used to describe the awful power of the first Tetras as they exterminated the people who used it. The conquers took a perverse liking to the word and took it as their own. Soon, kahn was used to describe the squads of tetras that went to war; that were the best. For the elite, it became simply a replacement for the word squad. Now, most don't even know of the words bloody origin.
- KRule: This word is the result of further evolution of the word Kahn. It is a fusion of the words Kahn And Rulers. Once vast armies of tetras sprang up their leaders needed a separate notation to distinguish between themselves. Hence, Kahn Rulers. Overtime in the Enclavian Army these two words got merged as is often the case in the service of the military. This is why the 2nd “R” is capitalized.
- Majeek: This is a derivative of the word “magic.” For magic to exist in the known galaxy, it is literally ripped from another dimension. Enclavian scientists figured out how to open small holes between dimensions. This is why most majeek user's are Enclavian. After stealing enough of the other dimensions matter to fit in the palm of a person's hand, (which takes many attempts) it is placed in the care of a pre-adept. These people are mid level, passive tetras who use the matterstones to amplify there powers and create special abilities within themselves.
- Matterstone: A collection of extra-dimensional deposits that are use to create majeek
- Large explosions come from a matterstone that has reach instability. This happens over time in the current dimension. This is accelerated by the tetras attempt to control a stone. Therefore, failure to do so results in death and keeps the number of majeek users to a minimum.
- Matterstones explodes in the instance of its user's death.
- Passive: An individual with standardized powers to accompany their tetra level, but lacks a unique ability.
- These are the standard tetras.
- Planetary Modification Installations (PMI‘s): These gigantic factory looking plants make a planet livable to humans by continually augmenting the planets atmosphere in a way that creates breathable oxygen and a useful atmosphere. The plants are set up strategically around a planet. Each planet is unique and therefore requires specialized plants in a variety of numbers.
- Planetary Engineers is the title of one who designs the plants to a specific planet. These projects are offered up for bidding much like military contracts. This is one of the more profitable industries in the known galaxy.
- Picker: Is a term used to describe a slave or indentured servant.
- Pullback: Is a term used to describe an inebriated tetras ability to pull themselves to a sober state.
- Salt: The illegal drug that works on Alphas thru Omegas. The only substance that does this with equal effect irregardless of DNA base. Its distinguished by its soft green luminescent glow, that effects its transport and use. It is small and easily dissolved but are unnaturally heavy to this point.
- Works on most other species as well equally. Exceptions: Colos
- Tetras may drastically reduce immediate effects by inducing the unseen change. This is similar to their ability to shake off a night of drinking in an instant referred to as pullback. The difference being that there is a long term effects on a tetra's body of an over user. A constant user often shows signs of “pullback degeneration”. This is where a tetras pullback effect is slowly withered away as the user continues over time.
- Salt is a by-product of the creation matterstones. The portals used to gain the fragments expend unnatural to this world byproduct. These chemicals are released to standard refuse disposal tactics of being shot into the world's local sun(s). A Streaker will then swoop in near enough to the sun to be unsafe to standard enforcement ships, yet far enough not to burn themselves up too much. Their Pickers, essentially slaves or indentured servants, sift through the catch in hopes of sifting out all the canisters. The Dealers then take the waste, process it, and deliver to the general public.
- The politics of this process is often a point of contention between nations since the origin of this drug lays in the Enclave, and only the Enclave. Nations, however, have little hope of getting the powerful & independent superpower to wield to any outside influence. This leaves it up to the nations to simply stop this stuff from crossing into their own borders.
- Since salt comes from an other dimensional source, the results of an overdose are odd to most. A users skin begins to glow from the inside as their blood reaches a point where it is completely over-saturated with the salt. The saturation process then moves into other bodily created liquids like tears and saliva. If a person continues to OD they may eventually burn to ash as their body literally burns up all the natural liquids. This final stage is the longest and the point where a user either lives or dies.
- The pullback for a tetra at this point is ill advised. The pullback works against the effects of the sobering process thus user and only enhance the process. This makes salt all that much more dangerous for a panicking tetra whose natural instincts would likely be to try this very thing.
- Shadowlight: This is the power aura a tetra (and some others) can generate.
- It is normally invisible to the naked eye, but it can be scanned for with the proper equipment. The effects of it are very visible as it effects the things around it.
- EX: A hovering tetra's shadowlight will blow the leaves around their feet.
- A shadowlight can grow visible at times of drastic energy increases.
- The term originates from the idea that it sticks to a tetra like their shadow.
- Sorcerers and Sorceresses: The wielders of matterstones. These are tetras who must amplify their powers. This new power is entitled ma”majeek.”
- Energy beams become invisible for majeek users.
- Enclavians are the original users of these powers.
- High tetras can't use majeek considering that it will eat away at them like a cancer from the inside. It's as if the matterstones become carnivorous around such a quality power level. Therefore the stones can be used to inhibit a powerful tetra foe of a majeek wielding being.
- Low tetras to alphas simply tend to be too weak to control the matterstones.
- Streaker: The term given for the small ships that swoop in and grapple with Enclavian trash thrown at the sun for disposal. They do this to get the matterstone by-product and start making salt.
- System Numbers: The three numbers that follow a system title.
- The first number refers to a system's total stars (3).
- The second number refers to a system's total planets (8).
- The third number refers to moon's of value (5). This is the only subjective number, therefore it is not uncommon to see it different in reference to who has surveyed it.
- (EX: 3-8-5)
- The numbers tend not to often appear if a system is the only one with its title.
- If the system has the number marks they tend to say the word “System” before the the title of that system.
- Trinary: The base name of the fighters in The Alliance military designated for Kahn use in the 2nd Cycle.
- Individual fighters on arms have their own designations.
- Many types-Atmospheric combat-Spatial Fighter-Bomber-Interceptor
- Main hull can operate on remote in combat situations.
- Verse: The title of the marine, naval, aerial, and space forces combined together and under Enclavian rule.
- There are 3 verses in the Enclavian army.
- Weaponstruct: The solid energy a person forms into a hand-to-hand weapon for use in combat.
- Used by Belatchin & then duplicated by Emberki as her permanent power adaptation.
